From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. Every detail was so thoughtfully curated – from the beautiful, welcoming signs to the cozy, romantic atmosphere that made it the perfect couple’s escape. Each morning, we were greeted with the most delicious, beautifully prepared breakfasts – tailored perfectly to our preferences, including gluten-free options that were both creative and nourishing. It’s rare to feel this seen and cared for while traveling, but this stay exceeded every expectation. And then something happened that made it unforgettable… my partner proposed to me here. It was the most heartfelt, emotional, and perfect moment – and to our surprise, the hosts had prepared a customised card for us, complete with a song that was truly ours. We scanned the QR code, and there it was – a melody we’ll treasure forever, marking the beginning of our new chapter. This place isn’t just accommodation. It’s a space of love, care, and magic. We will forever hold it in our hearts and can’t wait to return one day – this time as an engaged couple. Thank you for creating a memory we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. 💍❤️

The owners were so friendly and inviting. They made you feel like family and cooked delicious meals. The house and environment were also relaxing and tranquil, as well as very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this to everyone and look forward to going back myself!

The hosts were exceptional. They knocked themselves out to ensure we were comfortable and we experienced an enjoyable stay. The cleanliness was first rate. There is just so many more great things I could say. Everything you could wish for was catered for. As for the two dogs, they too were adorable. The weekend was a getaway for our birthdays and the hosts put on a night for us to help us celebrate. Highly recommended.

The Country House is a glorious house set in beautiful countryside well away from the hustle and bustle. You need a car if you want to explore the surrounds but we went to get away from it all. Terri & Teresa are wonderful hosts and fantastic chefs. We had breakfast and dinner on both days; our steaks were cooked to perfection, as was the barramundi on the following evening. We had cheesecake for dessert one evening and a chocolate and caramel based cream and banana tart - both were absolutely delicious. If you're seeking a 5* restaurant, don't bother, have dinner at The Country House because it surpasses any 5* restaurant I've been to. Happy Hour was excellent and fun! Cosmopolitans on our first night and Tequila Sunrises on our second. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh with homemade crumpets, bread or bagels as well as eggs, sausages, bacon, etc. All beautifully presented. The room was very spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with wonderful bedding.
