Beautifully restored traditional house. Our room, with three beds, was spacious and nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated having a kettle to make tea. A good breakfast and our host was friendly.

Janosz must have got up even earlier than me on Saturday to prepare it all. There was certainly enough to eat and drink though I worried about my Post Office Travel Money Card having been blocked the previous evening when I keyed my PIN in wrongly not just once but three times at a restaurant I went to for my evening meal. This problem eventually resolved itself, however.

The location in the village of Montsegur was perfect for me as I was doing the Cathar Way long distance path. If you just want an amazing place to stay and eat in a lovely location, this is also the perfect place to stay.
