A comfortable, old fashioned hotel, perhaps in need of a little updating but this did not detract from our stay. Excellent breakfast.

First thing to note is how helpful the staff are. The check in was simple and they were quick to react to a problem that required me to change room as I was moved to a Superior Room following an issue with the shower in the original room I was allocated. The room I was moved to was excellent - incredibly large with a nice sitting area and a massive bed which was very comfortable. Good location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre and around 10 mins walk from the railway station. Hotel is located in a quiet area of the town so external noise was not too much of a problem
