Very friendly and helpful bilingual or trilingual staff. Very clean washrooms. Comfortable beds. Efficient safety and rules. The kitchen allows you to cook your own food and the common areas are comfy and clean. The location in unbeatable and the price very good.

The hostel is in a vibrant part of Montreal (the old port area), and provides basic facilities in a relaxed and friendly manner. The place is well managed and staffed by competent and friendly employees and volunteers ( the desk person Meghan was extremely helpful with using the metro and getting around the city, for which I am very grateful!). The atmosphere was relaxed and respectful, making for a pleasant and comfortable stay; I would stay at the hostel again, and would recommend it to friends.
