Fauna Montevideo is located in a historic building from 1927 and therefore does not have an elevator, so guests must use the stairs to reach the accommodation.Starting October 1, 2025, the Municipality of Montevideo has implemented a daily tourism tax of US$1 per person per day for all tourists, with a maximum of US$5 per person, to be charged by all registered accommodations.We will need to add this charge to the total cost of your stay.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Very quiet hotel with 2 comfortable seating lounges. Good A/C in rooms. Excellent beds. Truly excellent staff that speak very fluent English and go out of their way to please.

The ambience of this boutique hotel has been exceptionally thought through and every detail considered for a unique luxurious experience. The decor is outstanding. This place will entice you to stay in!

The staff was super friendly and very helpful with information in Montevideo but also for the rest of our trip. In the rooms they have nice big tea cups.
