The facilities were great as Pension Santa Elena. We had a Room with a private bathroom. Towels were provided along with toiletries. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The shared kitchen had everything you need and was a good space, with Tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was also included which was 2 options- traditional Costa Rican breakfast and yoghurt with granola and fruit. Both were great options. The garden and communal space are also well maintained. We were able to book tours via the hostel which were very reasonably priced, easy to arrange and flexible.
