“Perfect host, perfect views, perfect house”
30 Jun 2025
It’s was a truly idyllic stay on the Italian country side. Dreamlike views, fresh fruits from the garden for breakfast and homemade cakes and a fantastic warm host. Highly recommend!

“Exceptional!”

This place definitely deserves exceptional score! Stunning view, tranquility, cleanliness and most importantly the hosts. Milena is absolutely wonderful and welcoming host and chef (yes, she will prepare breakfast for you). The house is amazing: very old, with a history and art and with a soul. I would love to stay longer or to come again.

“Loved the place, will be back next year and probably many years after that.”

Corte Landriani is a beautiful, centuries old building that has very recently been converted from a house to a hotel. The interior has been expertly renovated in a traditional style with exposed brickwork, gorgeous wood fixtures and traditional Italian tiled floors and stairs. The rooms are a good size and are equipped with everything that you would expect and need for a relaxing stay, the shower was excellent, air con (an absolute must in summer) more than adequate, an Android TV with Netflix, Prime etc, good internet speeds, the bed is probably the most comfortable I have slept in and comparable with (or better than some) 5 star hotels; they have really put the effort in to making this a place that you will look forward to go back to at the end of a day of exploring the mountains or the coast. The proprietors are a wonderful, friendly, accommodating couple and even with the language barrier they were excellent hosts. I only had chance to have breakfast once (the rest of the days were either very early starts or very late starts after a previous very late night) but it was exactly as requested, plentiful and served in a quaint and delightful dining room with an antiques room right next door showing the owners very tasteful collection of local antiquities. I was invited for aperitivo (Google it!) where we met the rest of the guests, were liberally fed local produce and local wine and got to know the owners a little better, all under the blazing Italian sun in a great stone courtyard for the huge cost of – zero, it is just part of the local custom to treat guests in this way. I found out that I was actually the first British visitor to stay there but I suspect that I will not be the last and it certainly will not be the last time that I stay there. The village itself is very traditionally Italian and is perfectly located in between the mountain region to the West and the Adriatic coast to the East. The key word here is “traditional”. This is real Italy.
