We spent two nights at La Guayaba and stayed in the only room upstairs. It was absolutely beautiful. Thanks to the many windows, we could watch lots of wildlife right from our bed, including various birds, squirrels, coatis and agoutis. Since the room faces the mountainside, it was completely private and not visible to others. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was incredibly delicious. He was happy to accommodate our vegetarian preferences and when we had to leave early for an excursion, he even prepared breakfast for us ahead of time. We can 100% recommend this place and would happily return anytime.

The owner is very friendly and you feel welcome! The room was very clean and cosy. It's only a few mins walk to the centre of Santa Elena which feels like a super cute tourist village. There is a fridge in the room along with coffee /tea maker. There wasn't a lot of noise at night as it was slightly outside of the village centre.

The room was big, very well equipped, hot shower, clean and tidy. Everything close. Very well located. Staff was very friendly and they prepared tasty breakfast. We loved cat Nina. Thanks for a awesome stay.

Close to the town and lovely staff. Everything was clean. We saw monkeys from the terrace.
