Nice small hotel resort in Mon Choisy. The rooms were comfortable and clean, small kitchen was well equipped. Pool and beach area in the hotel were both nice, clean and very quiet. Access to the main Mon Choisy Beach was very quick. The area is okay, there isn't much you can walk to other than the beach, so a car is really essential. There are some restaurants and within a few minutes drive. The breakfast is basic but nice.

We loved everything about it!!! Great location to beach, could use lovely hotel next door for food and drinks if needed. Lovely area, close to bus stop for Trou aux biche shops. The beach is calm and shallow for swimming, great street stall for food there too. The swimming pool was perfect and lots of sun loungers, the staff were very friendly and lovely. The room was cleaned everyday and washing up. The place was secure and you had a great rep for booking days out and excursions. They had a sister hotel for shuttle bus for evening meals and entertainment. Would defo stay here again! The area was clean, lovely trees. Birds. And little beach space outside the gate.

This place is amazing—truly a little paradise: a beautifully maintained garden, a great pool, and of course an ocean view. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The entire staff is incredibly helpful, always welcoming you with a smile and ready to assist with anything you need. If you arrive by car, you can park in the hotel courtyard; if there’s no space, there’s a public parking lot just outside. Renting a car (and booking tours) is worth doing on-site through Cindy (the price-to-quality ratio is fair), but keep in mind that the car rental doesn’t include full insurance—there is an excess/deductible. That said, you can easily manage without a car, because there’s a local bus stop very close by (ask at reception and they’ll explain which routes go where). By the way, buses run often here and can even be faster than driving (cash payment, small fare). The hotel itself is excellent, and the rooms are wonderful (I recommend choosing a room with an ocean view). The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping team works very sincerely (don’t forget to leave them a tip!). The nearest shop is a bit farther from the hotel, but you can take the bus to the large Super U Grand Baie supermarket, or use the mini kiosk next to the hotel where you can buy water, beer, fruit, and also tasty freshly prepared fast food. Honestly, the best food we had was at the beautiful Mon Choisy beach next to the hotel—it's not only a great place to walk and swim, but also to eat together with the local community. In my opinion, the best food stalls are L’île Cuisine – Chez Mario and Kiosque Magique. You can also walk into town and eat at local restaurants.

The accommodation in Mont Choisy completely met my expectations. It is a small family hotel with a beautiful garden and a quiet chill zone with a pool overlooking the sea. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. Special thanks go to the cleaning ladies, who always cleaned so thoroughly. I have never experienced this in any other hotel. However, everyone did their job with dedication and care, which was evident in the hotel. Many thanks to all!
