we were travelling by public transport and there was no bus at the time we arrived. we contacted Helena to ask for the number of a taxi bus when we arrived in Reguenos, half an hour away she was waiting to greet us and take us to Monsaraz. Great hospitality. Monsaraz was lovely. We hiked, swam and enjoyed the views

We enjoyed the beautiful view of Monsaraz and having the amazing surprise at 7am of the air balloons in flight. The house was immaculate and we had the place all for ourselves. Having access to the courtyard with a seating area and a hose was fabulous in the evening heat. (We had a hose bath👌🏼)

We Loved the character if the house, and its location and history. We had a great room with view. Nice shower. Once I turned the boiler on! Lovely Comfortable bed. A cold but well equipped kitchen. A Coffee ☕️ machine too. We stayed in early January, so it was cold. The heating is limited. So wear warm clothing. It has an easy code entry. Location is right near entrance gate and car parks. So not far to walk. We loved being here, when not many people and tourists. We've visited before about 6 years ago and it was busy in May. Good communication with hosts.
