My wife and I stayed at Casa Mariste for 5 nights and we had the best possible experience! Gianmaria was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He gave us great recommendations for nearby cafes and restaurants. The apartment is beautifully designed and the location is absolutely perfect — from the balcony, you can watch the fishing boats go by. Another big plus: the air conditioning is excellent in all rooms and works silently. The windows are also of high quality and block out any noise from outside, which is important when staying in the historic center. The nearest beach is just a short walk away, and the area is full of great dining options. There was absolutely nothing negative to mention. We’re very grateful to Gianmaria, who thoughtfully took our preferences into account.

Monopoli was the perfect base for visiting the area and Casa Mariste was a fabulous place to stay.

This has to be the most stunning apartment we have ever stayed in. It is exquisitely fitted out with modern Italian finishes and equipment. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host, Gianmaria, is charming and helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment overlooks one of the old docks where fishing boats come and go and there is a small balcony on the first floor suitable for coffee or quiet contemplation. However on the next floor there is a huge terrace, very well equipped and overlooking the Port and part of the old city. It was so lovely that we cooked in and ate up here every night as we have one of the best views in the city. The stairs are easy to carry things up and there is a second small fridge and other equipment in a room upstairs as well. Just divine. During high season parking is expensive on the street below but you can pay to park to load and unload for a short time and then there is a free park about 15 minutes walk that Gianmaria explained to us. Stay here, you won't regret it. We were sad to leave.

Loved the location. Gianmaria was a wonderful host & recommended some great restaurants & towns to visit. Spotlessly clean. Large sun terrace was amazing with fab views of the harbour & a lovely place to relax.
