The staff were superb. Don the manager great bloke and his wife who does the breakfast lovely lady cannot do enough for you. Breakfast superb.

I stayed as a solo traveller, I ate in the bosun bar food was beautiful & portion were super sized. The bedroom was spacious & perfectly clean. The heating was on and the room was cosy warm. I overslept and missed breakfast, the bed was so comfortable the chef asked if I wanted breakfast but unfortunately I had to go, I will be back soon as I will be travelling for work again. I am delighted I chose the bosun, it’s a home away from home comfort, service with a warm welcome, looking out directly onto cork harbour towards cobh. Just beautiful

Good location with a view across the river, and the staff were great in allowing us to park 2 x motorbikes off the road. The room was pleasant with comfortable beds and the food available in the restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast.

Very nice location & views of the river. My room was comfortable. Nice modern bathroom, if a bit on the small side. Chocolate on my pillow was a nice touch. I had a meal in the bar, nice seafood. Wonderful breakfast, very tasty.

This is a fabulous bar and restaurant with rooms, great food, very friendly staff, excellent service superb breakfast - no visit to Haulbowline complete without a stay at the Bosun!
