Our stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfectly organized and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, with a rich variety and amazing flavors – definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. We also rented electric bikes and really enjoyed exploring the area that way – it was such a fun and memorable experience, totally worth it. The location of the hotel is excellent, combining easy access with a beautiful natural setting. The spa was perfect as well, offering a relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Christof in Monguelfo and really enjoyed our time. The location is great – in a small, quiet town but perfectly positioned for exploring the area. Lago di Braies is only an 18-minute drive away, though keep in mind the road closes after 9:30am to reduce crowds (reopens after 4pm, but the sun may have gone from the lake). Parking by the lake is easy – €15 for the whole day – and you can hike around or take a boat out on the water for €55. We also visited the famous Tre Cime (Three Peaks). We’d recommend parking at the train station and booking the bus ahead of time, as driving up yourself can be a bit intimidating. The bus option was affordable, stress-free, and the drivers handled the winding road with ease. The hotel itself was lovely with a peaceful garden for sunbathing and a restaurant (which we didn’t try but seemed very popular). The wellness facilities were excellent – a beautiful pool, relaxing rooms, sauna, and steam room. Just note that the saunas are nudist, which might be surprising if you’re not familiar with this tradition. Overall, a great base for exploring the Dolomites with excellent wellness facilities to unwind in after a busy day out.

this was the most exceptional hotel stay we've ever had 😍 The hotel was beautiful, the staff was exceptionally lovely, the pool and sauna facilities were stunning and we had the most wonderful dinner experiences. Especially on our first night when we were invited to enjoy it in the garden chalet. That was pure magic! (thank you, thank you, thank you for that!) Also, the food was superb. And it was a great starting point to explore the area (also, an extra thank you to the lovely lady at the reception who brought it to our attention that you need to pre-book parking for some of the hikes in the area!)
