Cheap and cheerful hotel. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was good. (I particularly liked the freshly-made waffles!) Close to the small beach and one very nice taverna. About 5 kilometres from Monemvasia harbour area with all its bars and tavernas.

Having run my own hotel in the past and worked in tourism for 15 years; I know what to expect relative to price. This is the kind of small budget friendly hotel I prefer to stay in. The hotel is modern and stylish. Too many hotels lack the local character. The Iris does Greek style wonderfully. I love the blue accents on the bedroom walls and fittings. Staff have been accommodating and friendly. The optional breakfast was really what I wanted with unlimited coffee and tea all day if required.
