Stunning retreat in a beautiful historic monument area, with exceptional and responsive staff. Short walk to cafes / restaurants. Good advice about what to do, easy swimming daily, room could be cooled, exceptionally comfortable bed. We wish we had booked longer. Don't hesitate with the price, you'll have no regrets and have lifetime memories. Also consider it for a winter contemplation retreat, the fire looks fab. You could not get better hosts.

Everything. This is the best hotel!!we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our hosts are the very best and most thoughtful, wonderful people. The location is magical and we will definitely be back. We were their first wedding and it was perfect. Thank you!

The hosts greeted us personally despite our late arrival and helped us take our luggage to the room. They also came to see us out on our last day. They were very flexible and friendly and also gave us tips about the area. The house itself was very clean and cozy. It was stylish, well equipped and totally fit the wonderful architecture of the castle. The location is very central, only a 5 min walk to all the shops of the castle. But not in the middle which I also think is good because it was very quiet at night. We also had an amazing terrace with a view of the sea.
