This is a complete house which is very spacious and well equipped. The host was always available to answer questions and provide local recommendations. Parking was available.

This apartment was really state-of-the-art. I liked being here very much. Check in was with a key box which was very convenient. The house is authentic and you can immediately see that the owners - an artist couple - are people with taste... Casa Malva was renovated in 2022. It is a typical Algarvean mansion that would once have belonged to a family from the cork industry. The heating was on - attentive, and makes you feel welcome - and there are all sorts of surprises waiting for me: lots of fruit, walnuts, tinned fish, honey, cookies, a whole bag of bread rolls, a bottle of water (from Monchique - or what did you think?), a bottle of wine and I'm probably forgetting a few things... Monchique is ideally situated for walkers and hikers.

Loved the character and uniqueness of the townhouse in an excellent location in the mountainous quiet town of Monchique. It is an old high ceiling townhouse tastefully renovated and decorated by the owners themselves who are exceptional artists!
