The perfect stay from start to finish. The location was excellent, peaceful and ideal for unwinding, with beautiful surroundings and a lovely walk nearby. The villas felt truly luxurious, and the whole experience was relaxing yet incredibly special. The food was exceptional throughout our stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all outstanding, paired with excellent wine. The sommelier was exceptional and really catered to our tastes, which made the dining experience even more special. It felt like fine dining with a warm, homely touch. The sweet potato puree was one of the best things I have ever tasted. The pool was wonderful, warm and refreshing, and the tennis courts were a great added bonus, with thoughtful touches like new balls and rackets. We also loved the little details around the grounds, including the pond with terrapin turtles and large koi fish, which added to the tranquil atmosphere. The staff were amazing, especially the reception team and dining staff, who made our trip so memorable and made us feel incredibly well looked after. We also really enjoyed the Roman road walk recommended by the hotel. It was such a cool, easy route and a great way to explore the area.

Stunning hotel, I loved everything about it! the gardens are so beautiful, especially the lake 🐠 🐢 every detail has been carefully curated to perfection. The heated pool is also great and surrounded by lush natural beauty 🌺 The room was super comfortable, and I liked the added extras like the beach bag and shawl. Breakfast was 11/10! Everything is so fresh and the selection is impressive. I really enjoyed the daily wellness activities, especially the yoga class under the old oak tree with Rita! During my stay I also had an amazing signature salt massage with Carla. The Terra restaurant has spectacular Portuguese food - I didn’t feel the need to venture out as the best food in Portugal is there! Thank you so much to all the wonderful and kind staff who made me feel at home. Special shout out to Lara who kept me company at dinner :) Hernani, Bernando and the reception team for being so friendly and helpful, Eugenio who gave me rides to and from the olive factory, Juan who brought my chocolate fondant to the pool, Pedro who put a smile on my face every meal!, and the lady from the restaurant who brought fresh carob plants for me to see what was in my carob tart dessert 🥹 - you are all the best! already planning my next trip!
