The location is ideal for anyone visiting Monção and the building & grounds are beautiful. The pool was a strange color during our visit so we didn't venture in it. Our room in the convent wing was clean and comfortable. Unlike other reviewers, we found the breakfast to be more than ample.

It was an exceptionally comfortable, clean, and pleasant hotel, with wonderful ambience throughout the room—and above all, truly outstanding staff. The room was not particularly large, but it was very comfortable and allowed for a pleasant stay. And more than anything, the location was perfect. Thank you very much.

Breakfast had a wide selection of delicious food. The highlight of our trip was Marta who could not have done enough for us. The rest of the staff were attentive and so helpful.

Breakfast was not good exept eggs and bacon. Lunches were excellent with salads, codfish and meat of good quality. Gardens and surroundig area of the hotel charming and relaxing. Staff very nice and helpful.
