Cairns Couple “A nice apartment and very good value for Dubrovnik, but needs a little work.”

It's a great little apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location isn't brilliant, but you can walk down the hill for 5 minutes to a bus stop, where you can get the 1B bus to the centre of Dubrovnik old town. It takes about 25-30 minutes to get there, and costs 2.5 euros per person in June 2025. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful. They allowed us to cancel our original booking free-of-charge because our ferry from Italy was cancelled, which was really nice of them.

This apartment was very clean and well equipped. The hosts were very kind and let us check in earlier. They are pet friendly. The bus connection with Dubrovnik is a superb. The bus 1B, down the road, took us directly to the Old Town so we didn't need to take our car and worry about the carpark etc.

The interaction with the owner. Very nice and helpful lady also the mother who gave the key, very polite and nice person.The location was good, near the bus stop 1 B taking you to the city center in 20 min. Note there are stairs going up and down from the appartment to the bus stop or the little supermarket near it. Free parking spot in front of the appartment or public parking above the appartment also for free. The appartment (studio) itself was a bit strange as there was no window at all, only a door opening to a patio overlooking the parking. Washing machine , kitchen with all you needed to do basic cooking.No micro. Towels are provided. Tv but only 1 Chanel.

Great value for money. Very helpful owner. Bus to Dubrovnik a few steps away. Free parking. Would definitely stay again. May not suit someone with reduced mobility unless they always used a car.
