Very cozy. Old charm about it. Loads of animals on the farm. The hosts were very accommodating and super friendly. Very homey feel about the place. Rooms were cleaned daily. The meals were so heartwarming, just what was needed to help warm up.

It’s serene and clean, you feel closer to nature with the animals around. The people are friendly and welcoming.There a giraffe, the horses, and the friendly dogs. The peaceful sounds of the river once you go down the pathway . Oh not to forget the food … earth in all the plates .

Thandile Country Lodge turned out to be a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of life. We were able to escape to a space where the sounds of flowing water, the lush greenery, and the friendly animals (especially the captivating giraffe) drew us away from the everyday stress of life. Cobus and Magdel are incredible hosts, who paid close attention to our dietary requirements, spoiled us with hearty and delicious meals, and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. These wonderful humans are truly the heart and soul of this incredible establishment.
