Great location for an overnight stop en route south with free parking. Friendly village pub in an interesting old building, with a warm welcome & helpful staff. Comfortable room with everything we needed and a nice evening meal. Just down the road from Moffat which is a lovely little town to visit.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The room had been recently refurbished and was lovely, clean and warm. The evening meal was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable sleep and a lovely breakfast. Great value for money!

Great location being just off the motorway. Ideal for overnight stay. Had a very nice evening meal, service was very good considering the young lady serving was running the bar and waiting on tables aswell all on her own. She always had a smile and was very welcoming to everyone who came in.
