Just a flying visit this time to Moffat and the first time we've stayed at Kirkview House. Sensible directions and information from owner John meant it was no problem to find. Unfortunately we didn't get to sample the breakfast as we were too full from eating the night before at the Annandale Hotel, but it sounded good. John is a good host with a dry wit and lots of interesting tales, should you have a mo to chat. The room (more like a small suite really) exceeded expectations and was very comfy.

We had an excellent stay! The house is gorgeous, the host John has a great knowledge on the local area. Breakfast was lovely, we would stay again if in the area.
