The lodge was well set out and clean and offered all the necessary comforts. The host was very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. This was important because it rained the entire weekend, and hence we were unable to go on game drives or explore our surrounds much. The spa treatment was lovely.

Amazing host! Beautiful bushveld with mountain views. The lodge is part of a working farm with cattle, buffalo's, etc. You cannot ask for a better weekend away. You feel part of it all and I was sad to leave.

The size of the accommodation booked is more than sufficient for a small gathering. Very tranquil location. Nice swimming pool. Friendly and helpful hosts that are passionate about their property.

Friendly people, who will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, happy and at home. I have never experienced such good service at any accommodation like we did at Mothopo Game Lodge. The facilities were neat and clean and it felt like home away from home. Nothing was too much to ask and they even arranged special picnic for my husband's 50th birthday. We will definitely be back.
