Gorgeous cottage presented gloriously with antique furnishings and decorations. Comfy bed, breakfast items supplied and a welcoming bottle of sparkling wine. We even had a visit from the resident echidna. The stonework on this cottage is absolutely breathtaking. We loved absolutely everything about Lemke Cottage.

Lemke cottage is adorable - it's a beautiful piece of history and everything inside has been curated with care. So much attention to detail! It has everything you need and is in a great location - a quiet street but not far from town and the highlights of the Barossa. Provided travel and meal tips were great. Providing multiple chargers for phones was great. We enjoyed Ripping Yarns on DVD at night. The rooms were all tidied, linen was clean and everything was in great condition. The welcome chocolates and wine were a great surprise and very much enjoyed after a long drive from Melbourne. The instructions on accessing the property was all clear and we had no trouble getting in. Bathroom had everything you need in it and the stone basin is a great feature. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plates and cookware. The garden and wilderness out the back is beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings and evenings.

My friend and I felt so comfortable and relaxed. Loved all the interesting bits and pieces throughout the cottage that was very fitting for the era of the cottage.

The cottage was very cosy and we loved the fireplace. Weirdly though it was not in the living room but the back wall of the house. The place was quiet and all the available services were wonderful.
