Room was comfortable and staff very welcoming. We enjoyed the grab and go breakfast with its croissants and cinnamon buns. The firepit with smores was a bonus and meant we had a pleasant evening with other guests. The heated pool looked inviting. The hotel was close to the centre but set slightly away avoiding traffic noise.

Loved the quirky John Wayne references throughout, and the retro phone in the room. And the pool area was wonderful (I loved watching the little cleaning robot!). The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, loved talking about the history of the motel, and also helped me with lots of dinosaur-related activities to do around Moab :D. Short walk to the main streets of Moab with restaurants and bars. Breakfast was 'grab and go' type affair; I would strongly recommend the cinnamon buns. Eat as many as you can, you won't regret it.

Loved the character and history of the John Wayne Suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nostalgic. That is a plus. Nice to see an old motel updated and cared for. Service was great. The night staff actually carried our bags up stairs for us. The TP is much better than some of the national chains. Very clean room.
