From the moment we arrived, Paulina and Maris were the most incredible hosts we’ve ever experienced. Their kindness and attention to detail went far beyond expectations. A perfect example: they noticed a flat tyre on our hire car and immediately stepped in to help. Not only did Paulina and her husband get the car roadworthy with the inflator and sealant, but they also arranged for a local garage to open at 7:30am so we could still make our planned trip to Mostar. The mechanic fixed it within minutes and refused to take any payment. That level of thoughtfulness and care turned what could have been a stressful situation into a simple and even heartwarming one. The apartment itself had everything. It wasn’t just well-equipped—it was stocked with all the things you need but never expect to find in a holiday rental: washing powder, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, condiments, oils, vinegars, soaps, shampoos, and more. On top of that, we were welcomed with wine, water, cured meats, fresh vegetables, and fruit straight from Paulina’s own farm. We’ve stayed in villas every year, and we’ve never had a place so generously and thoughtfully prepared. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and truly perfect in every way—we couldn’t fault a single thing about it. We also chose to have the family-prepared meal served at their brand-new micro-tavern on the grounds. It felt like having a private restaurant just for us. The food was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and the service was warm and personal. It was an unforgettable experience and something we highly recommend. The villa itself is wonderful, but what makes Villa Paulina extraordinary is the hospitality, care, and genuine kindness of the hosts. A quiet place—there are no nearby houses, making it perfect for a family vacation. The views are stunning, resembling the Italian Tuscany. The house has beautiful renovations and a great layout. Besides the kitchen in the house, there’s also a separate outdoor kitchen. Absolutely all amenities are provided—pool, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, barbecue, towels—you can come to this house just like coming home, without needing to bring anything. Every morning, the pool and yard are cleaned. The hosts are very friendly and caring.

The villa was beautiful and very clean, the pictures are a true representation. The bedrooms are all good sizes and the kitchen/living area is perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils. We travelled with a 2 year old and the travel cot provided was a good size. A highchair and baby bath were also provided. The summer kitchen and outdoor seating area are great. Such a big space and it was nice to eat dinners outside. We opted to have the traditional dinner the hosts cooked which was a great experience. The location was perfect for us, 15 mins to Dubrovnik, 15 mins to Cavtat. 10 mins from supermarket/beach.
