The fine print
A deposit via bank wire is required to secure your reservation. Mavela Game Lodge will contact you with instructions after booking.Driving directions:
-At Mkuze town, turn west off N2 on Bangonomo road.
-After 1km turn left on D240.
-After 1km sign in at ZRR gate where the guard will call Mavela on radio.
-After 9km turn right at crossroads and follow signs to Mavela Game Lodge.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
This property is accessible via an unpaved road, which may be unsuitable for some vehicles.

Thoroughly enjoyed absolutely everything and it made my birthday celebration extra special! What a Gem! A heartfelt thank you to Caitlin and Siboniso for the warm hospitality and overall impeccable experience. 👌🏽Hats off to the Chef!... The food was🤌🏽 And many compliments to the friendly staff. Can't wait to visit the Mavela Family again.

The rooms & main dining area are tastefully furnished - rustic luxury. The food was outstanding - the chef is brilliant. Our guide, JVR, was extremely knowledgeable about the environment and worked hard to make sure we got to see as much of the push as possible. We also had a talk on South African History from JVR one of the afternoons - really enjoyed that. The team did their absolute best to make sure we had a great holiday. It was definitely one of the best holidays I have had.

I will give 9.8 for this stay. 0.1for wifi problem and another 0.1 is because the unlucky weather. But these won't happen next time.
