We opted for the Japanese breakfast and dinner and both, while different to what we normally eat, were excellent. We loved the Onsen, it was lovely having both in-door and out-door versions. We loved the sea view from our room.

The location is so beautiful - really close to the momiji danji park and ropeway to the top of Mt Misen, and only about a 10 minute walk to the town and ferry. The staff were so helpful and friendly, service was amazing. There's an absolutely amazing communal bath (both indoor and open air) and an outdoor foot bath at the front of the property that's really relaxing. We stayed in a traditional room and the futon were really comfortable. There's also a shuttle service to the hotel if you arrive to the island before 7pm, then after checkout the hotel held onto our luggage when we went to explore the island and took us back down to the ferry port! Such an idyllic stay
