Showcasing an expansive rooftop terrace with day-beds and barbeque, JJ's Hostel Mirissa is a boutique hostel and guesthouse located in Mirissa North, only a few minutes walk from Mirissa Beach.

“The best place in Mirissa”

This was my second stay at JJs and I really enjoyed it. The staff are wonderful and the Christmas meal was highly appreciated. It's large grounds and excellent pool are memorable. It's a couple of minutes from the main road so much quieter as a result. Doubt there is a more relaxing and social hostel in Mirissa.

JJs Hostel is an incredible place for solo travelers looking to meet new people. They organize daily yoga classes, group outings, and activities, creating a super social atmosphere. The dorms are spacious, equipped with privacy curtains, large lockers, shelves, power outlets, and reading lights for each bed. Despite staying in an eight-bed dorm, I never felt like I lacked personal space or privacy. The bathroom setup is great, with two sinks, two showers, and a separate toilet, ensuring there’s never a wait. The dorms, kitchen, and common areas are spotless, thanks to a daily cleaning team. Bonus points for the rooftop terrace and pool! The hostel is also located on a quiet street, making it a peaceful place to unwind. It's a short walk to several restaurants, the main street and the beach. As a woman traveling alone, I felt the area was really safe, just a little dark at night.

Really nice breakfast options. Lovely common area and spot by the pool. They have yoga in the mornings and lots of areas to relax. They organise activities from the hostel daily so it’s great to meet people! We stayed in a private room for 4 nights and they changed our sheets and towels after two nights. Would recommend
