Warm welcome received. Nice airy room, well presented. Great breakfast. Ellie was a great host, full of advice of where to go and do. We stayed here not to be too far from Auckland airport. In the morning we went to the Pukorokero Miranda Shorebird Centre in the morning, brilliant visit to see migration birds. Then headed to the airport. If you are doing any of these things I definitely recommend a stay here.

Ellie was a wonderful, interesting, host. The breakfast was fine, the room was good, he location was lovely - ideal for visiting the spectacular Robert Findlay park and Shorebird Centre. I've never seen so many birds in one place................
