I had a wonderful stay in Miranda do Douro. The room was spacious and part of a beautifully renovated house that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The surrounding farm was picturesque and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great suggestions for local activities and making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious homemade items that added a personal touch to each morning. Although the nights were quite cold, the presence of a warm duvet ensured a cozy sleep. Overall, it was a delightful experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the region in a tranquil and authentic setting.

The property is on a small farm with donkeys, a rooster and dogs. Only 3mims off the N221. Each morning, Gloria (the owner) brought breakfast in a basket with fresh picked fruit and berries from the garden, bread, yoghurt, juice, coffee, milk, and charcuterie. The pool, like our rooms was immaculately clean and towels were provided. Comfortable bed and good shower. Gloria made our stay extra special.
