Stayed overnight while heading north to Shetland with a friend on our motorbikes. Set just back from the road with a large garden the hotel had a traditional, quiet and calm atmosphere both outside and inside. The staff we met were all very friendly and engaging. Our twin room was large, two rooms and a bathroom really, and very clean and comfortable. We ate both dinner and breakfast, all was excellent, with local produce to the fore. We would happily return and recommend.

Just the most beautiful, warm and welcoming country hotel. Utterly perfect in every way. Warm, clean and comfortable room with a lovely shower. Delicious food and the most tasty porridge ever. Staff are wonderful. I cannot rate Saplinbrae highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Perfection!
