Located on 1.5 acres of Souris River-front property, this is one of the few well-preserved examples of massive architect-designed homes built by affluent North Dakotans, the Carr family, at the turn of the century.The home is wrapped in a grandiose porch and has stained and beveled glass throughout the property. Each of the six rooms is uniquely designed with personal-size refrigerators, bath amenities, bathrobes and tea and coffee-making facilities. The third-floor ballroom acts as a common area for all guests with a couch and chairs, Ms. Pac-man game, board games, decks of cards, a phonograph and records.
