The location is amazing. Close to main shrine as well as small town. Room was clean, food was absolutely amazing and filling. There is a possibility to reserve a private bath (for free) that reinvigorates you. The stay and the atmosphere is really unique with authentic temple lodging. Would 100% come back

Everything was great. Food, environment and people. Also there is a person from Spain (We are from Spain) He was very kind and We had a nice talk. I had an small problem because I am a very tall person and everybody find a solution and helped me to be more confortable.

We loved this place, it was our favourite stay on the whole trip. The walk to the temple is lovely. The little town is so nice with friendly and helpful locals. The whole area had a peaceful atmosphere. We got half board and the food was amazing. The onsen is lovely and private onsen time is free, you just put your name on the board. The staff were so lovely and we were lucky to be treated to a Taiko drum performance. I can’t recommend this place enough. The garden in the center is beautiful.
