A really pleasing choice for a nice stay. Peter as host was very helpful and informative. I liked where Glendower House was, the house itself and my room. Good breakfasts. Glendower House is very close to the West Somerset steam railway. Would highly recommend to anyone staying here if in Minehead. The Old Ship Aground is excellent for an evening meal. Good trips can be had to Dunster, Watchet and Porlock. Only snag (not related to Glendower House) is that Minehead is very quiet after autumn half term. West Somerset Railway closed.

The room and ensuite were very nice and very clean. The usual refreshments and small refrigerator were much appreciated. The bed and easy chairs were comfortable. The breakfast menu, food and seivice were all excellent.
