I got one of the houses closest to the reception (which was perfect for me because I had 4 bags to carry inside). This one and the next are not in trees but on poles/stilts, which really is the same for me. Breakfast was great (but a little bit too small for me). Bed was super comfy and there’s charging sockets near the bed as well as reading lights with warm light. Plenty of space to hang clothes and the hot shower was hot most of the time :). Melissa and Alexis and Joan gave me the best welcome and were very friendly with me and my dog - they even went out of their way to pick me up dinner from town on the first night. And I got to use the kitchen to male coffee and meals. Free parking under a roof for my motorbike too 👍.

My husband and I stayed at the Eden tree house for five nights. We stayed in the family room as this was the only one available at the time. What we loved most about the place was the location, isolated and a good 45 minute walk from the centre in the middle of nature. We were able to see tucans in the trees from our bedroom! From the hotel grounds we were able to spot several species of birds, frogs, insects etc. The staff was kind and available. We would definitely come back to this hotel on a next visit to Mindo.

The hummingbird garden and the walking trails are really nice. Lovely out of the way location.
