Very well equiped flat. Restaurants, beach, and grocery store right downstairs, city center only 15 minutes walk. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Super clean!

Comfortable stay in this new apartment, with a cool balcony that looks out into the street below and with oblique sea views. There's also a roof terrace/open space with superb 360 views of the beach and surroundings. 4 mins to the beach, easy safe walk, literally across the road. Easy efficient check in, everything in the apartment was fine, WIFI fast and reliable. Safe, interesting neighbood, with local shop, bakery and a few cool laid back restaurants directly on the street corner. Beds big and comfortable, well supplied kitchen. Big shower, hot water, all linen and towels new and fresh. It's on the 3rd floor, of a quiet building, we slept well each night, even when there was a festival on the beach, with the doors/windows closed. Easy to walk into the town centre, a slow 20 min roll, but you can grab a taxi very easily or the local bus, which is the cheapest option, they all stop outside Caravella, the bar on the beach, and drop you off at the end of the street, quick, safe and fun way to hop around the city, buses rolling by all the time, till pretty late at night. Neighborhood feels safe at night, families, residential and plenty of people on the streets, walking, eating etc. An enjoyable introduction to Mindelo and a comfortable stay with a trip to the beach every morning to swim in the turquoise waters.
