We had stayed here before and were happy to come back to be sure of being on time the next morning for a family funeral in Northampton. The rooms are clean and comfortable , some might say slightly dated but no problem for us . The pub is a modern local one and very popular . We had a drink in the bar , a meal later and a light breakfast in the morning , the food and drinks were very reasonably priced and at all times the staff were very good and helpful . It would be a good stopover hotel for those travelling on the M1 as it is less than 5 minutes from the nearest junction.

The breakfast choice is really good and the food is always cooked to order. The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.
