Beera Farmhouse is one if the few B&Bs that we like to revisit. Hilary looks after us so well. Our cooked breakfast is superb, and the option of a fabulous evening meal is great. The room is spacious and has gorgeous views across the fields and into a valley that is mist-filled in the morning. It's a very quiet spot with good access to Dartmoor (you need a car). We'll be visiting again I'm sure!

We liked everything, can't fault anything. We were welcomed by Hillary, she was very nice, very helpful and kind. We were shown everything and were offered a complimentary home made cream tea, which was excellent. The room was large, the bed huge and a really comfortable mattress. A range of furniture was also provided in the room. Bathroom was fantastic. Kettle with provisions was present and well stocked. There are little sensor lights by the stairs and bathroom, really helpful at night! Other little details were thought of, nothing was missed. Carpeted throughout with great quality carpets, nothing cheap! The farmhouse is lovely, it was warm, friendly family atmosphere and if needed we would have had a woodfire lit but it was really warm indoors so not needed. In case anyone thinks a farmhouse can be cold, true, but not in this case. The views are simply stunning!! Grounds are well maintained, there is no clutter, no mess and generally very very tidy. It is also very quiet, which is great!! It was also nice and dark and really, we had the 2 of the best night's sleep there. And because the mattress was of great quality it meant we never got up all crippled in the morning. Breakfast is simply amazing. Not only do you get plenty of options, you get quantity as well. Freshly cooked food and nothing is cheap, it really is of excellent quality. Food is freshly prepared and it is piping hot, tasty and if you'd like a bit more, that would not have been a problem. (no need for more as you get plenty of choice) The area's of the house that we had seen during our stay were absolutely spotless. I did not see a speck of dust anywhere, no dirt, no hair, no limescale, NOTHING! the bathroom was sparkling, sometimes you see limescale on the shower head.. NOTHING! Carpets are all clean, wooden flooring was clean... Just WOW. This is by far the best place we've stayed in over the 30 years we've been travelling in the UK.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with a vast choice on the menu. Dinner also very nice. Good location. My wife was allowed to play the piano in the lounge.
