Many large pitches, super friendly staff, sense of community and "reallness", family run, no commercial nonsense, and so so generous with things like 24hour access to tea, squash, kettle, reception area, it really is in a league of it's own this place.

Very pleasant experience, a warm welcome and good facilities. Although I didn't utilise the breakfast, I was made aware that a free continental breakfast comes with the booking which is nice from a campsite.

The location is simply breathtaking. The mountains loom behind the site, with rolling fields and beautiful woodland all around. I’m going back to Scotland at the end of the month and will definitely be stopping here again!! It was so close to Glasgow but really felt like the middle of nowhere 😍

We accidentally messed up our booking and arrived late one night with 3 bedraggled children. They immediately helped us and were so very kind. We love this beautiful place and will return... Possibly minus children..
