Living in a 200-year old Georgian farmhouse, next door to an unaltered farmyard, with swallows flying all around. The kindness of the owner and his daughter, Jack and Tanya. A beautiful isolated waterfall and pool just up the road on the fell behind the farmhouse. Utterly magical. Easy access by car to the highest mountains.

Warm hospitality. The owner is a gentleman with a wealth of life experience. It was a joy to have spent some time with him, he showed us around and the cattle, shared insights on their cattle business. The property had a lot of character to it. And its got some interesting history to it as well. Overall, was a memorable stay!!

Fantastic farm house with lots of character set amongst the beautiful landscape. About 30mins from Scafell Pike. Perfect location and the owner is a lovely gent who comes and says hello when you arrive.
