It's hard to find enough flattering words for this amazing place. Every interaction with staff members was a happy one. The restaurant PioPio has an exceptional menu, focusing on local produce and prepared by a first-class chef and their team. Even the snacks are yum! We'll be back 👌

The milford sound lodge exceeded our expectations. Our only regret is we didn't stay for longer. From the moment we arrived Bec greeted us with such warmth and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the mountain view room and it was perfect. The rooms were so cosy and the bed was very comfy. The rooms had everything you could want and we even got a complimentary breakfast delivered to our room in the morning which was so lovely. The Pio pio restaurant was a stand out and the lamb ribs & venison was the best we have ever had. Travelling from Australia for my husbands 40th birthday this was such a special place for us to stay and we won't forget this for a long time.
