I was travelling alone and looking for a quiet hotel in an easy-to-get-to neighbourhood, not too expensive. Hotel Losanna was exactly that. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. I slept well there. I enjoy walking and could easily get into the center of Milan in a half an hour. It's located only one street off a busy road, so I always felt safe walking to the hotel, even later in the evening. The breakfast was fine -- nothing exceptional, but the usual variety of pastries, bread, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, cold cuts etc, Filling and nutritious. I would happily stay here again when I next visit Milan.

The only decent, relatively central place in Milan where I could get a last minute room during Salone that did not charge exorbitant prices for that. The room was pleasant and cosy and it had a balcony. Towels were changed daily. The staff was kind and professional. Everything went smooth
