We loved staying at Appletrees. Tessa’s warm welcome, the lovely bright, beautifully decorated room, the luxuriously comfortable bed, the spotless en-suite with everything you needed and more, the delicious breakfast on the terrace with Tessa’s homemade yoghurt and fruit compote topped with strawberries, the stunning view - and, of course, the weather. So many lovely touches that make such a difference for a rare long weekend. It’s hard to beat perfection. Of all the B&Bs we've stayed in, over some 20 years, this will remain the most memorable. We’d love to return.

We had an excellent stay. Thank you so much for making us feel very welcome. This is B&B at its best - personal, professional, cozy, charming. We enjoyed the house, garden, breakfast and conversation, and the lovely scenery. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
