The place is realy beautiful. The surrounding has amazing views, and the little houses are new and are decorated with love and attention. With hot and good showers! Jose is a very good cook, we got an excellent three course menu in the evening. Breakfast is the best we had in two weeks. The swimmingpool and tub are a very nice extra, Well integrated in the envirinment. . The owners were also super helpfull with good information! And all of this just on one hour driving from punta cana. Ps: they help you with daytrips such as visiting los haitises national park and the ferry to Samana from Sabana de la mar where you can see the Wales in the season. (Also one hour drive). Thank you for the good Experience!

Both breakfast and suppers were really good, with ample coffee. The staff were very helpful. Great open views, and fabulous pool. The Owner even helped jump start our car battery one morning.

We stayed at Margarita Eco-Village as the first stop of our honeymoon, and it was truly magical. This small eco-village was founded just two years ago by an Italian couple — the most welcoming, warm and genuinely kind hosts you could imagine. From the very first moment, we felt like we were visiting friends rather than just staying somewhere. We chose the treehouse cabin, and it was an unforgettable experience. It has no windows or doors, so at night a soft, pleasant breeze flows through the space. We slept incredibly well on a very comfortable bed, surrounded by the sounds of birds and crickets. Waking up there feels like living in the jungle — completely immersed in nature, under the stars, with breathtaking views all around. We were absolutely in love with the scenery. Breakfast was included, and it was exceptional. The highlight was the HOMEMADE YOGURT — honestly the best yogurt we’ve ever had (and we’re from Cyprus, so that says a lot!). There was also homemade jam, a beautiful selection of fresh fruits, avocado, cheese, scrambled eggs, freshly brewed coffee, and fresh juice. It was the perfect start to every day. Being an Italian family, they take food very seriously — and we are so glad we chose to have dinner there every evening. Dinner costs $30 per person and includes three courses: starter, main course, and dessert. We are absolutely sure we wouldn’t have found food of this quality anywhere else in the Dominican Republic. The menu included ricotta and sage ravioli, barracuda fish, pumpkin soup with ginger, and many other incredible dishes. It’s the kind of menu you rarely find even in a good Italian restaurant. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the sunsets, the pool with jacuzzi, and truly rested for months ahead. There is also a separate yoga platform and they offer gong baths, which we unfortunately didn’t have time to try.

We had the most wonderfully peaceful time at Margarita Ecovillage. It was the perfect escape. The entire team was so welcoming and made our stay truly special. And the food... simply amazing! Eating traditional Sicilian dishes prepared with fresh produce grown right there in the ecovillage was an absolute dream. It's an experience we won't forget. Thank you to everyone at Margarita for your incredible hospitality. We can't wait to come back!
