We stayed 2w in the one two-bedroom bungalow, and we truly never had a more relaxing stay ANYWHERE. The food: We tried almost everything on the menu and were pleasantly surprised by how well prepared and tasty it all was. It’s really rare to find food this good IN a hotel restaurant in our experience. Two of us are on a gluten free diet, and the chef baked fresh rice bread for us for the entire stay! Delicious! And making altercations to the menu was no issue at all, as long as it’s something from the existing breakfast menu. Like for our 11 yo who loves pancakes but aren’t a big fan of yogurt and granola, we usually just ordered the pancakes and the cashews. Also reducing food waste. :) The drinks: some of the best we ever had, and tailor made if we wanted a twist. I think I had 10 passion mojitos! The beach: We visited several other beaches, including Paje, Jambiani, Pingwe, Kendwa and Muyuni, and Kae beach by far has the finest, whitest and cleanest sand! We have too many pictures and videos of the sand alone! Make sure to go swimming during high tide, and walk down to the mangroves during low tide! And facing west, it has a beautiful sunset…. The location: Somewhat remote, but still never more than an hour and a half from «everything» on the southern part of the island. And with taxi or a rental car, it really is no issue to get around. Secure guest parking, and if you drive slowly for the first / last 200 m, a car with enough ground clearance can easily tackle the bumps. :D The staff: These people must hands down be the nicest, warmest and most helpful hotel staff we have ever had the pleasure to meet. We honestly feel like we have made new friends! We miss you all, and would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Anna, Precious, Jacob, Cosmas/Cosmos, Tatu, Tinna, Peter, Ericky, Somoe, Tamrina, Martin, James, Side, Hidrissa, Jack, Teddy, Emma and Herman for making our vacation the most memorable one ever!

Food was definitely the highlight here for us as we didn't expect such great tasting and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chefs. Room is as per photos, comfortable and cooling with both AC and fan. We personally would have liked more hooks or towel rails to dry our wet wear but we made do. Beach with white powdery sand was less crowded and had a great sunset view, however, still some interaction with "locals" trying to sell us services/souvenirs. Loved the pool. Precious and his team always checked in on us, making sure we were taken care of. Wifi better than other Zanzibar hotels we were at. Overall, a wonderful stay for those who want to totally unwind at a quiet, boho-chic place.
