I found Hotel Druzba a solid and affordable hotel in the center of Michalovce, with friendly staff, spacious rooms and a good breakfast, although parts of the hotel feel somewhat outdated and not all facilities are equally modern. A very strong point I found was that I had requested a takeaway breakfast because our flight departed very early. When I asked about it, I was told nothing had been arranged, and unfortunately the night staff couldn’t help since the kitchen was already closed. However, at the moment of departure it turned out a breakfast package had still been prepared. Excellent service!

Breakfast basic but nice. Newly refurbished rooms are much better, so it is worth the extra money. You get what you pay for, so if you're fine with the old style rooms, that's on you.

The hotel is located in a city centre. I had a nice view over the city. A room provided a basic accommodation, a bed was comfortable. Tasty breakfast is served in a nicely decorated restaurant. Staff was attentive.

Location of the hotel was very good, so was my room. Overall, the facility despite being more than forty years old, was well-maintained, clean and calm. It provides excellent access to the centre of the city. Kudos to the reception and the restaurant services. I recommend it to the sole travellers as well as to the families with children.
