Carry “2 Hits and 1 Miss. Could be so much better”

2 Hits - 1 Miss. That's how this new Hotel is. Modern, spacious room, large window - poorly cleaned (must have used dirty rag to clean the window), dark in the working table area. It's baffling to talk about internet connection in Taiwan in 2026, yet this hotel connection is inconsistent and slow. Breakfast is a big miss - Tasteless.

The thing that really stood out was the service of the staff. It's my first time having staff respond on booking.com messaging within 2mins. Even during our stay, when we were stranded in an inaccessible, we messaged them and they were able to call a car quickly for us. Really appreciate their promptness and service quality. The room itself is also huge and comfortable. It was interesting that breakfast is served to our room so if we dont want to waste food, we have to finish everything they gave us. They were nice to alternate between Chinese and western menus.

-- Room was very big compared to Taipei. Soundproof enough. Clean. -- Branded toiletries - Cha Tzu Tang, including body lotion (but from 1 Jan 2025, no more disposable items like toothbrush, toothpaste will be given). -- Staying for 2 nights, had Taiwanese Chinese breakfast (porridge with accompaniments) 1 day and Taiwanese Western breakfast (triple decker sandwich) on 2nd day. At least there's variety. Breakfast comes in a tray delivered to your room, 5 to 10 mins before your decided time. -- Free parking for guests. -- Supermarket around the corner on the left. Bubble tea shop and Louisa Coffee around the corner on the right.
