Ocean Drive is less than 200 feet away ( when you look at the map, ocean drive is a whole strip, the property is essentially a block to cross from Ocean Drive .Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. After spending several hours researching a hotel with good value, close to the beach and restaurants, Ocean Reef seemed like the best option — so I booked it. From the moment I made the reservation until our checkout, everything was perfect! When we arrived, I was a bit worried about the street noise — bars, music, and crowds — but all of that stays outside! The hotel is truly family-friendly. We stayed in a studio, which had plenty of space for a couple and our 7-year-old daughter. The kitchen was well-equipped with a mini fridge, utensils, toaster, and dining table. The only thing I missed was a coffee maker, but it makes sense since they offer free 24-hour coffee in the lobby. The room was spotless! I like walking barefoot, and I can say it was super clean. The only things that could be improved are the A/C, which works well but is quite loud, and the bathroom lighting, which could be better. Other than that, it’s a 10 out of 10. Breakfast is simple but enough: a variety of sweet breads, toast, cereal, yogurt, waffles, bananas, and apples. Now here’s the game-changer — what made me book this place: they offer **two free beach loungers**. That made a big difference for me, especially with a child, since we’re already carrying so much. You only pay for the umbrella (\$20/day). Absolutely perfect. Note: the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, like most places in Miami, so prepare for that. We paid \$80 for two nights, but the parking lot was just across the street — super convenient. Congrats to the Ocean Reef team — I definitely recommend it and will be back!
