The location was excellent for the film festival I attended. The facilities were excellent, especially the pool. I am keen on keeping fit and found It great to be able to run alongside the beach right by the hotel. Everyone around seemed to be running, cycling or just walking on the beach.

The location was great - right on the beach and centrally located to walk to shops , restaurants and bars . Ocean drive was only a 15 minute walk away . The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Shout out to the bellman Luis , who was very knowledgeable about the hotel and room amenities, plus gave us some good recommendations on where to eat . Rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a nice balcony .

We stayed for 4 nights as a family of four. While there were some lovely touches – daily yoga with a great instructor and complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks between 5–6pm – the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. The room was very small with no space for suitcases, no coffee maker, and not even cups for water. Despite paying over $550 per night (including resort fees), beach loungers were still charged at $26 per bed, per day, which felt excessive. We opted to stay by the pool instead, but service there was slow and inattentive. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room until after 4pm (and only after we complained), even though the trolley was often right outside. The biggest issue came at checkout: we were mistakenly billed $790 for two cars and an extra resort fee. Thankfully I caught the error and it was corrected to $390. Also, we didn’t earn any IHG Rewards points because we booked through Booking.com – something I wasn’t aware of, and quite disappointing as a loyal IHG guest. Overall, the location is great, but the experience didn’t reflect the price tag
